Sports Massage or Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments and can assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that may be caused by poor posture, repetitive activity, strenuous activity or trauma.
Sports Massage Therapy be used in helping to relieve chronic and long term pain. It can help reduce fatigue, alleviate swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility and prevent injuries. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.
